Maria Mokhova
A true fashion media multitasker, Maria Mokhova has been combining journalistic and publicist career for years now, focusing on a single aim - to support talents, amplify their voices and dig deeper than the glossy surface of contemporary fashion. Her experience stretches but is not limited to digital and print journalism, public relations, brand building and consulting. With a strong international economics and versatile cultural background, she has been analyzing the industry as senior fashion editor of L’Officiel Ukraine for over 5 years, as well as contributing to various local and international publications. As a journalist, her focus has always been industry analysis (economical, social, political, cultural - as fashion can never be away from that), scouting and speaking to emerging brands, as well as industry heavy-weights.
In 2019, after having worked as in-house PR with several brands, Maria joined her forces with a business partner Varvara Zikran to launch PR & consulting agency white rabbit in Kyiv. During pandemic their business tripled and has already worked with top brands and companies from Ukraine, South Korea, The Netherlands, Switzerland, USA, as well as international fashion weeks in Ukraine and Georgia - gaining top international media attention and growing brands’ awareness.
Ever since brutal russian war came to their homeland, white rabbit agency team has been raising the awareness of international fashion community (and not only) about the ongoing of the full-scale war, ways to support the country and the fashion industry. Using her personal IG as a platform for first-account reporting on war realities directly from Ukraine, with the agency’s team Maria has been supporting fundraising initiatives, social causes and ensuring that the world listens to Ukrainian voices - attentively and carefully. As a result - numerous features in top international fashion media have been published, proving yet again that fashion cannot stand aside from what is going in the world.
