Virginie doesn’t fit your stereotypical superficial fashionista type – sure, she always has those 10 cm heels on her feet, but she’s also wearing her favorite leather biker jacket, as she hops on her 900 Thruxton Triumph motorcycle and ride as fast as she can, born to be wild.

But don’t be fooled – Virginie’s been in the Fashion, Luxury and Cosmetics business for the past 20 years.

She moved to the capital of fashion (Paris, obviously), at the tender age of 20, and quickly entered the advertising world, working in agencies right away – it’s with Mc Cann Erickson that she discovered her love for film production, working on international campaigns with superbrand Nestlé.

From thereon she worked in prestigious agencies such as Australie, DDB, JWT, Y&R , before working her way into Publicis, where she was International Head of TV for Garnier L’Oréal. Yes, we know, impressive !

And in 2015 she finally decided to do the move from agency to production company -- Wanda, where she is currently Executive Producer, in charge of the Luxury department, where she collaborates directly with directors to create outstanding content for clients.

Virginie loves fashion, luxury and beauty world because this world is all about contrast, « Luxury is something essential, in a simple manner – it’s all about emotion, and perfection, tenderness and desire".

Wanda Productions was founded in Paris in April 1991 by CEO Patrick Barbier, and has since then become one of the top ranking, most awarded French production companies in the world for commercials, digital, animation, print & music videos.

Wanda’s experience in luxury and fashion is not new: Wanda has as long history of collaborating with brands such as Dior, Cartier, Hermès, Longchamp, Lacoste, Maison Martin Margiela – just to name a few.

Wanda has also produced some of the most iconic luxury ads in the past few years: we all remember Charlize Theron in the “Dior J’Adore” spot shot by Jean-Jacques Annaud, the “Wintertale” story for Cartier, created by Nicolas Deveaux, and more recently “The Big Leap” film for Lacoste, directed by Seb Edwards.

Created in 2015, the Wanda Luxe department, led by luxury and fashion expert Virginie Sagan, focuses exclusively on creating content for Luxury, Fashion, and Cosmetics brands and clients.

Creating content for such clients is much more than directing classical advertisements, it’s more about creating “atmosphere films”, with artists communicating with artist to create outstanding visuals and storytelling.

Alongside Wanda’s exclusive roster from all horizons, French and from abroad, confirmed talents and young blood alike, Wanda Luxe creates ads, digital and interactive experiences, music video and media collaborations, as well as brand content and magazine collaborations.
