I love films.
In fact, I love them so much that I attended NYU’s filmmaking school.
The problem was – filmmaking didn’t love me back.
My screenwriting professor did me a big favour when he pointed out my inability to craft scripts that follow the profession’s rigid rules. He suggested advertising instead. God bless him.
My story isn’t unique; the advertising industry is composed of many aspiring filmmakers that landed in this adjacent business, bringing along their ‘secret true passion’.
