Touch me, taste me, smell me!
The creation of an audio-visual piece of art demands and starts with a great idea and concept.
What happens when you send a concept throughout the process of filmmaking - its "realisation" - is the exciting part of filmmaking, the part that is fascinating us the most!
We as the audience can only guess, what it meant to pair the original vision that popped-up in a director's mind, with all the possibilities technological features have in stock. What it meant to deal with all the other uncountable factors that come into play, until we as the audience can perceive the manifestation of this struggle!
An idea has been sent on a journey, got dressed up in images and been finally handed over to us. Became something we can connect with, we can relate to. Something that is now triggering our senses... makes us think and makes us feel.
But what about it, when our SENSES themselves become the topic? How to present the impact a certain scent has on us via moving images? How to communicate what happens when you get touched by someone you desire? How does skin feel?
Have a close look on exciting examples from our WINNERS LIST! Ones that managed to capture the haptic of the world, to communicate the rush that comes over us, when someone else comes closer...
