Belfast born Kathryn Ferguson is a Film director, Film Curator & Fashion Film Research Fellow, currently living and working in London.
This year we are delighted to have her as part of the BFFF family. She will join the panel discussion on June 5 during the BFFF Fashion Film Summit.

Her films have screened globally at film festivals around the world and on platforms such as MTV, Dazed Digital, Nowness, Twin, the BBC, in Vogue and appeared on BOF’s Top 10 Fashion Films of the Season.

Her work with Selfridges has focused on creating a more positive representation of femininity in advertising, with works like The Beauty Project generating more than 2 millions views online.
In conjunction with her filmmaking practice, Kathryn also works as a Curator. She began curating the annual Birds Eye View Film Festival’s ‘Fashion Loves Film’ strand at the Institute of Contemporary Arts & British Film Institute in 2008 where it continued until 2013.
Since then she has been working with the British Council & The British Fashion Council as a curator specialising in the emerging genre of fashion film.
Kathryn is regularly invited to join international panel discussions and present her work at festivals including WOW Festival at London's Southbank Centre, La Jolla, Fashion in Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival and Colectivo YOX in San Sebastian.
