Fashion Film News: Campari Gets Tricky

A New Triptych Fashion Film series for Campari by Lernert & Sander and Mori Inc. Literally Turns The Classic Apéritif Upside Down...

BFFF Family Members Lernert & Sander shot a series of 3 videos for Campari titled 'HOW TO DRINK CAMPARI." In each short film, a woman is challenged with deciphering how to consume a tall cocktail turned upside down on a table...

Classic fashion tailoring and styling is paired with the classic beverage, resulting in a glossy and slick aesthetic. Lernert Engelberts perfectly describes the unusual visuals of the campaign as "cunning, yet precise."

LerneRt & Sander commented “In the incredible history of past Campari campaigns we felt that the emphasis was placed on making the Campari model elusive and alluring. So, for this project, we wanted to direct the intrigue back the drink – by turning the drink upside down”

Tokyo advertising agency Mori Inc. collaborated with Lernert & Sander on the campaign which is currently running in Japanese media...hence the slightly more bizarrely weird and wonderful concept being commercially explored on screen.

The ice-block itself took over 6 weeks to create in order to ensure its crystal clear transparency, making it crucial on production days to ensure it didn't melt too quickly, resulting in the use of LED lights on set.

FYI...not one drop of Campari was lost in the making of this film...
